Welcome to Free PHP Proxy Templates

Free PHP Proxy Templates provides free and simple to use proxy templates. At the moment this site is very basic with only 3 templates to get you started, in the very near future I will update the site with new templates and additional features such as a step by step guide to creating your own proxies, web forums, RSS feeds and a  Proxy Toplist list.

 

PHP Templates

To review and download any of the templates simply scroll over to the review  tab and pick a template to review. All templates are shown as working templates so that you can experience each one for yourself. When you have decided which to template you wish to download scroll over to the download tab and select the desired template.

 

All templates have been zipped to save disk space and bandwidth usage. To unzip you will require a zip package. Once the template is open you will need to edit the file config.php or index.inc.php see the readme.txt provided with each template for details.

 

What are Proxies?

Many work places and schools are cracking down on the websites and online services that are made available in their buildings. Websites like Myspace, Bebo, and other social websites have become targets of mass banning. Proxy Web server creators have become more clever allowing users to encrypt links, and any data going to and from other web servers. This allows users to access websites that would otherwise have been blocked. A special case of web proxies are "CGI proxies." These are web sites that allow a user to access a site through them. They generally use PHP or CGI to implement the proxying functionality. CGI proxies are frequently used to gain access to web sites blocked by corporate or school proxies. Since they also hide the user's own IP address from the web sites they access through the proxy, they are sometimes also used to gain a degree of anonymity, called "Proxy Avoidance.
